Common questions
I cannot hear anything, or it sounds like nothing is happening.
Check whether the programme is binaural. A binaural beat is a difference between your two ears, so on a speaker the two tones simply add up in the air and the beat disappears entirely. Resona warns you when this is the case. Either put headphones on, or choose an isochronic programme, which works on any speaker.
Why does the number keep changing during a session?
That is the point. The beat frequency ramps: it starts near where your check-in put you and walks to where your goal needs it. A fixed tone is the harder version. If you are wound up and the audio drops straight to 2 Hz, there is nothing for you to follow.
My profile says a band does not work for me. Is that right?
It is what your own readings say, and only after at least three checked-out sessions in that band. It is a measurement of you, not a verdict about the frequency. Sit a few more and it will update.
I fell asleep and never checked out.
That was the goal. The session is still saved; it just does not contribute to the profile, because there is no second reading to compare. Resona never guesses one.
How do I cancel?
On your iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Resona, Cancel. Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple, so we cannot cancel or refund on your behalf.
How do I take down a star I placed?
Open it on the chart and tap "Take it down". It disappears for everyone. Every star also disappears by itself within 30 days.
I restored my purchase and it still says Free.
Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account that bought it, then tap "Restore purchases" on the paywall. If it still does not appear, write to us with the date of purchase.
Is this safe if I have epilepsy?
