By using Resona you agree to these terms. They are the standard Apple end-user licence (the "Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement") plus the specifics below.
Resona is not medical care
Resona plays sound designed to help you relax, focus or wind down. It is a wellness app, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and nothing in it substitutes for professional care.
If you live with epilepsy or a seizure disorder, speak to your doctor before using any brainwave entrainment audio. Do not use Resona while driving or operating machinery. Keep the volume comfortable.
If you are struggling, please reach out to someone. In the US, call or text 988. In the UK, call Samaritans on 116 123. Elsewhere, findahelpline.com lists local services. Resona is not a crisis service.
Subscriptions
- Resona Plus is offered weekly, monthly and yearly. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel in Settings, your name, Subscriptions on your iPhone.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.
The chart, and how to behave on it
Placing a star is optional and anonymous. These rules are enforced, and breaking them means losing the ability to place stars:
- One word from the list. Stars carry a word Resona provides. There is no free-form title and no way to put a name on one.
- Lines are checked. The optional line on a star is reviewed before anyone else sees it, and again by a person if it is reported.
- No selling, linking, or contact details. Anything advertising, soliciting, or trying to move someone off the app comes down.
- Nothing abusive, hateful, or sexual. Zero tolerance.
- Eight words, and one answer. What you can send through somebody's star is one of eight phrases Resona provides. They may answer once, from the same eight. There is no free text and no thread.
- Report anything. Tap a star and report it. It disappears for you immediately and is reviewed.
By placing a star you grant us permission to display it to other users for as long as it exists, which is thirty days at most and less if you take it down.
Fair use
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or automate access to Resona, and do not use it in a way that interferes with other people's use of it.
Warranty and liability
Resona is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use Resona after a change means you accept it.
